1. Who do you currently work for and in what circumstances would I come to you for something?
Higgins Contractors Limited. Bid, estimating, and pre-contract management.
2. How do you prefer to start and end your day?
Start with exercise and end with reading.
3. What was your first job?
General labour as a teenager for on-site summer building works.
4. What is the worst job you have ever had, and what did you learn from it?
Working at a local hotel after school and at weekends. Did not have the best safety practices and poor inductions. Lessons learned were to prioritise your safety and if you believe something is out of place, speak up.
5. What is a mistake you made early on in your career, and what did you learn from it?
One thing I have learned from my past mistakes is when to ask for help. I have learned that it is far better to ask for clarification and solve an issue right away than to be unsure.
6. If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be?
I think public speaking.
7. If you could write a book about your life, what would the title be and why?
To be confirmed.
8. What advice would you give to your teenage self?
Don't overthink it, be authentic, and never fear failure.
9. What is one thing most people do not know about you?
That I'm a committee member of CCNZ.
10. What is the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
Be persistent and focused. What you put in you get out. Father
11. What is your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?
If the timing works watch the chase. If not walk with the dog at the park.

Honest, practical, and reliable.

1. Who do you currently work for and in what circumstances would I come to you for something?
Wilson Traffic Management where my position is Estimator and Business Development Manager. My main responsibilities are based on providing in depth tender submissions for all types of projects concentrating on efficient and effective traffic management. Along with this I am working along side other leaders in our business to continue WTM growth internally and externally.
2. How do you prefer to start and end your day?
I must start my day with a coffee and then a quick priority lists of specific tasks for that day
3. What was your first job?
Produce assistant at Woolworth, ensuring all produced rotated and re-stocked
4. What is the worst job you have ever had, and what did you learn from it?
Plastic moulding factory cleaner, that every position inside a business is just as important as another
5. What is a mistake you made early on in your career, and what did you learn from it?
When first moved into management roles I try to perform the role the way the previous manager did, over time in the various roles and gaining experienced I learnt to utilise different aspects of different managers I had worked under previously to mould myself to be the best leader I can be.
6. If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be?
Parenting, this would make life a lot easier, this way I would have the answer for everything 😊

Something basic, “Potters World”
8. What advice would you give to your teenage self?
Where do you see yourself in 10 years time and what can you do to get there
9. What is one thing most people do not know about you?
I have 4 sons 😊
10. What is the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
To be a success leader you need a success team around you who all complement each other - like a sports team, a great team will trump a team of individual “experts”
11. What is your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?
Sit on the couch and do absolutely nothing, listen to the kids adventures from the day
12. What three words would your friends use to describe you?
Workaholic, quiet, homebody
13. What book are you reading now?
Unfortunately, I am not a big fan of reading books as I read to much during the day, rather listen to pod casts
14. What’s one item you can’t leave your house or apartment without?
My phone unfortunately hahaha
15. What’s one item you want to own that you don’t?
A bigger house 😊

I have never been to a concert, I am not a big fan of large crowds
