CCNZ's Sustainability Working Group has produced an industry statement on the Quantification and Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emissions
CCNZ is committed to assisting with the Government policy of reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Industry therefore recommends the ISO14064 framework for greenhouse gas accounting and verification (ISO 14064-1:2018, ISO 14064-2:2019 and ISO 14064-3:2019) as the primary internationally recognised standard to be adopted by clients, lead contractors, sub-contractors and the associated supply chain.
Only by having a co-ordinated quantification and reporting standard will industry be able to have consistency on reporting, and be able to establish a consistent approach to quantifying and reporting on emissions reduction.
