Civil Contractors New Zealand has developed a new app to support civil contractors in measuring and reporting on emissions consistently.
Named Track’r, the new tool enables contractors across the supply chain to measure and report on emissions across a range of fleet in a consistent manner.
The tool is intended to be used by small contractors who may be required to report their carbon emissions from fuel use to clients or lead contractors. It is focussed on freight/transport and on-site plant/machinery fuel use and can record fuel use on a site-by-site basis, as well as per vehicle, per transport category or company-wide over a given period.
Track’r is not a certified product. As it is still in the early stages of development, it has limitations in its use and is aimed at small-scale businesses that need to get started on carbon reporting.
Access to Track’r is available to CCNZ members only. It is now live for members to use, and can be accessed at www.civilcontractors.co.nz/trackr.
