The NZTA Christchurch Roadshow event hosted by Trimble with food and beverages kindly sponsored by Sitech was well received by attendees and it was very informative evening that brought together a great cross-section of our industry.
The event featured insightful presentations from NZTA representatives, who provided valuable updates on:
- Upcoming pipeline of works
- IDM (Infrastructure Delivery Model) contracts
- Procurement processes

Their openness and clarity offered attendees a clearer understanding of what’s ahead and how we can prepare to meet future demands.
Jamie from Sitech also delivered an engaging presentation, highlighting how technology and innovation can be used to solve real-world challenges on site. It was encouraging to see practical examples of how digital solutions are helping improve accuracy, efficiency, and outcomes across the construction sector.
There was a strong turnout from members and associates of CCNZ Canterbury Westland branch, and it was great to see so many familiar faces connecting over pizza and beverages in a relaxed setting. Events like this are a great reminder of the strength of our industry network and the value of coming together to share knowledge.
