Due to the impact of COVID-19 the CCNZ Excellence Awards Gala Evening for 2020 has been cancelled. However we will continue with the CCNZ Excellence Awards programme with an extended entry period.
It has been decided to combine the awards for 2020 and 2021 by extending the entry period from 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2021. The new entry deadline will be Friday 14 May 2021 at 12pm and judging will be completed in late May/early June 2021.
The entry portal (www.ccnzexcellenceawards.co.nz) remains open so take this opportunity to get your entries started while your projects and people are fresh in your minds.
Hynds Construction Awards: It is critical that every entrant in the extended period of entry has a fair assessment of their project. This may necessitate some changes in how judging takes place and when. We encourage you now more than ever to make the most of the tools you have available to get photos and video footage of the work you are completing together for your entries. All existing entrants to the Hynds Construction Awards will be contacted in May, and any subsequent changes to judging processes or timing will be updated on the entry portal.
The winners of the Awards will be announced at the Branch Excellence Awards evening on Saturday 19 June 2021 to celebrate the achievements of our industry and recognise the work that has been done and the people who have made it happen through the COVID-19 situation in 2020 and beyond. We look forward to welcoming you all in 2021 for an extra special celebration of our industry and its resilience.
