Civil Contractors New Zealand has issued new publications, the Manual Traffic Controllers’ Handbook and the Speed Management Handbook.
The Manual Traffic Controllers’ Handbook features important information for traffic control, including basic safety rules, equipment, site set up techniques and operations. The Speed Management Handbook features information on temporary speed limits, Code of Practice for Temporary Traffic Management (COPTTM) guidelines and examples of decision making for traffic control methods on-site.
Both publications have been printed on environmentally-friendly RockStock stone paper, which is made from recycled quarry waste. The waterproof and tear-resistent stone paper will ensure the handbooks are durable enough to stand up to heavy use from traffic controllers.
The documents are available to members of Civil Contractors New Zealand at the cost of $12.50 per book ($10 per book for orders of 50 or more).
