Branch Committee & Subcommittees
Branches are established to provide a regional structure for members to network and socialise, to learn, and to address and discuss current issues. Each branch has a committee and subcommittees. The Taranaki committee meets bi-monthly. The purpose of the committee is to ensure the branch provides opportunities for members to:
• Keep members actively involved and informed
• Network with other contractors and associates
• Discuss industry issues
• Support National Office with CCNZ initiatives.
• Coordinate events that provide networking and relationship building opportunities with contractors, associates, and other interested parties e.g. councils
• Act on direction from the Executive Council and keep them informed on local issues
The branch is supported by our Central Regional Manager Grant Radovanovich, who liaises between the branch and CCNZ National Office. He assists the branches with:
• Local issues
• Building relations with local councils
• Adding value for sponsors
• Keeping branches informed of and where necessary obtaining input into CCNZ National Office initiatives
• Actively seeking new members with the support of the branch
• Supporting existing members to gain value from their membership
