Submission: Trades and Technician immigragtion pathway

Immigration NZ has proposed a new Trades and Technicians pathway.

CCNZ provided feedback on targeted consultation within the four working days provided, noting the consultation time was too brief to allow adequate industry engagement, the path did not cover infrastructure construction, the proposal was unlikely to be workable for civil construction, and further engagement with industry would be needed to cement a working trades and technicians immigration path for the civil construction industry.
