The National Pavement Technical Group, Civil Engineering Testing Association of New Zealand and CCNZ have jointly developed a test methodology guidance document for use in New Zealand to reduce confusion and enable consistency in compressive testing for cement bound aggregates.
This guidance has been produced because there are a number of internationally recognised test methods used to undertake Unconfined Compressive Strength on cement stabilised specimens. These test methods have made their way to our shores, and in some cases has led to confusion around which test methods are applicable and how they should be applied.
