This test determines the accuracy of the indicated speed for a bitumen sprayer set to travel at the speed corresponding to a chosen application rate.

This test method may involve hazardous materials, operations and equipment. This method does not purport to address all the safety problems associated with its use. It is the responsibility of whoever uses this method to consult and establish appropriate safety and health practices. The CCNZ BPG01 Best Practice Guidelines (related document 2.1) should be consulted prior to the use of this method.
