Supreme Contractor of the Year Announced

The CCNZ Canterbury Westland Contractor of the Year Awards were held at Te Pae Convention Centre in the heart of Christchurch on the 10th of November 2023, with a sold out event of 380 attendees, 24 award recipients, a master MC, Justine Smith who entertained the crowd and to finish off the night with a good old boogie with the band The D'sendantz.

The 2023 CCNZ CablePrice Canterbury Westland Excavator Operator Competition was held at the Road Metals Open day on Saturday the 14th of October 2023.

Civil Contractors NZ (CCNZ) and the Institute of Quarrying (IOQ) Canterbury Westland branches joined forces once again hosting our 2nd annual charity golf day, generously supported by our tremendous group of sponsors, led out by major sponsors Commercial Vehicle Holdings Ltd.

What is sustainability and how to achieve it, was the discussion of the night. 4 fabulous presenters discussed sustainability with an underling theme, that it is often broken into three core concepts: economic, environmental, and social and it cannot be achieved without just doing it!
