Beamsley’s smooth operating allowed him to best 13 other local operators at the National Driver Training Centre on 5 March, where the pressure was heightened by the heat.

Featherston operator takes regional excavator title

Featherston’s Corey Olson of E Carson & Sons claimed his first Civil Contractors New Zealand Wellington Wairarapa CablePrice National Excavator Operator Competition Region championship title, finishing victorious over a field of 14 at Brewtown in Upper Hutt on 25 February.
