There are 8 categories to choose from within the CCNZ BOP Hynds Construction Awards. These awards celebrate excellence in both projects and people, showcasing accomplishments within our industry.

Entry is free to any CCNZ financial member of the BOP Branch.

Our judges objectively consider the details of each entry no matter the size or diversity of the project. Please keep your answer factual and to the point.

Project Award Categories:
Main contractors and subcontractors should submit their projects into the appropriate Project Award category based on the project’s value at completion.

1. Category A: Projects with a value up to $1 million
   
2. Category B: Projects with a value Between $1 million to $5 million
3. Category C: Projects with a value of between $5 million to $20 million
4. Category D: Projects with a value of more than $20 million
   

People Award Categories:

1. Apprentice of the Year
2. Engineer of the Year
3. Outstanding Individual
4. Emerging Leader - open to all employees from TTM to machine operators and office staff aged 30 and younger
   

Supplementary Award Categories:
You don’t need to submit an entry for the supplementary awards - judges will select the winners based on the projects entered in the main award categories A-D.

1. Environmental Excellence Award - judges choice based on the Project entries
2. Health & Safety Award - judges choice based on the Project entries
   
3. Supreme Winner, sponsored by Hynds - judges choice based on the Project Entries
