Are you one of Otago’s finest excavator operators, come and battle it out to see if you are the best multi-skilled operator in the region!
Join us on Saturday 24 January 2026 for an action-packed day at the Taieri A&P Showgrounds, Mosgiel.
Bring the whole family for a fun day out and watch the competition in full swing — skill, precision, and a whole lot of dirt-flinging excitement guaranteed!

This competition is open to all levels of operators with two entry classes: Social & National – come along, have fun, and enjoy the friendly rivalry.

🛠️ Important: Only CCNZ members may represent the Otago region at the National Excavator Operator Competition Final in Manawatu – March 2026.

I agree that the decision of the judges is final.
Whilst National Excavator Competition Limited (hereinafter referred to as “the organiser”) has taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of the Competitors, Participants and Spectators of the Excavator Operator Competition, the organiser does not accept any responsibility or liability for any damage, injury or loss resulting from any negligent, unsafe, malicious or wilful act or omission on the part of the Excavator Operator Competitor. AND in consideration of the organiser permitting the Excavator Operator Competitor to participate
inthe said Competition the Excavator Operator Competitor HEREBY INDEMNIFIES the organiser against all costs, claims, damages, expenses, actions, proceedings or other liability resulting from any act of omission on the part of the Excavator Operator Competitor. The Excavator Operator Competitor shall recompense the organiser for any and all damage, loss and expenses incurred by the organiser as a result of any such act or omission. I also understand that if I advertise my involvement in this event (either winner or runner up) all publicity/media must be approved by the national office of the CCNZ.
