- Applications are open to organisations who are members of the Northland Branch of CCNZ.
Award Application Questions
1. Nominee Summary (max 100 word count)
Describe and summarise this person and why they been nominated.
This is what will be read out during the Awards Night presentation.
Attach no more than 5 photos you believe best represent the nominee to this question for considered for inclusion in the presentation shown on screen during the Awards Night (final photo selection is at the discretion of the committee).
2. Industry and Experience
Not all questions below need to be answered but the more information available the better for judging purposes.
- How long has the Nominee worked within the industry?
- What roles has the Nominee had?
- What gives the Nominee the most satisfaction in their job?
- What does the Nominee enjoy most about the civil contracting industry?
- Why did the Nominee choose a career in the civil contracting industry?
- What is the Nominee’s philosophy behind how they approach work, relate to people, and live life in general?
3. Achievements, Goals and Aspirations
Not all questions below need to be answered but the more information available the better for judging purposes.
- Has the Nominee contributed to the business or industry over and above their core responsibilities? If so, tell us about that
- What are the Nominee's greatest strengths?
- What is the Nominee’s most important successes, achievements, or career highlights to date?
- How does the Nominee make a difference in the company they work for?
- Describe an occasion where the Nominee has stood out as an excellent performer.
- Does the Nominee have any long-term goals or plans for the future? If so, what are they?
4. Leadership, Mentoring and Giving Back
Not all questions below need to be answered but the more information available the better for judging purposes.
- Is the Nominee involved in any community groups or organisations? If so, tell us about that.
- Is the Nominee involved in any mentoring or leadership within the industry or outside of work? If so, tell us about that.
- What would the Nominee say If a young person expressed to them they were considering entering the civil contracting industry?
- Does the Nominee have any person/persons who inspires them and, if so, why?
