Richie and Sale will be in town to present some Mates training. Let us know if you have any staff requiring training or if you would like to host a session at your site.
MATES In Construction is all about suicide awareness and suicide prevention.
We talk to the team about being aware of others behaviour and how to have the conversation with a MATE who is struggling.
How to spot signs and/or invitations when someone is struggling and provide them resources, including a nationwide 0800 list of numbers that is available to use for anyone they know, family, friends, or anyone in their community.
We talk to them about the MATES program and how that works as this is just the 1st step in the program of MATES In Construction
Below is a link that everyone has access to, which provides some online resources and short videos for the you and your team to watch and some adise on how to help a MATE who is struggling.

If we could please get an idea on numbers for how many would be keen to attend the courses then we can finalise venues.
Remember this is an opportunity for all staff to attend in your company, it is not limited to job title or occupation or number of attendees per Company. Everyone is welcome.
