To celebrate the end of the year, CCNZ Manawatu-Whanganui warmly invite our members and their partners (or family), and their clients, to join us for an evening of fun, entertainment, access to the golf driving range, some indoor fun golf challenges (with prizes!), great food and drinks.
When: Friday 15th December 2023
Where: Manawatu Golf Club, 19 Centennial Drive, Palmerston North
Time: Our room is available from 5pm, entertainment from 6pm, buffet dinner from 7pm
Note: Numbers are needed no later than midday Friday 8th December for catering purposes. I also need to know any dietary requirements by this stage.
We are happy to organise a van from Whanganui but I need an indication of numbers, and one sober driver, please. This van can swing through Marton and Feilding if required.
If you are a CCNZ member, please remember that you have a n3 card, which gives you a reduced rate at Millennium Hotels. In Palmerston North, this is the Copthorne Hotel on Fitzherbert Ave.
CCNZ Manawatu-Wanganui branch are sponsoring this so that the cost is $75 per person. Ticket price does not include GST, GST will be added at the cart (which will bring the total to $75 per person).

You asked for a comedian – so here’s one who has performed both in New Zealand and internationally, and also been on Australia’s Got Talent (getting through to the semi-finals). Joana Simmons, aka Banana Jolie is a powerhouse pun queen, princess of peel and ultimate vibeologist. She lived in Melbourne for 11.5 years, where she established herself as a performing artist. Melbourne also led to her studying psychological science, philosophy, and music at the Australian Catholic University.
In a time when she says we need connection and reminders of how complex, baffling, and joyful it can be to be human, she makes creative opportunities from the challenges of life.
This will be a fun and entertaining evening, and we look forward to seeing you there.
