This year we are revisiting our old stomping ground on the Marine Parade, this is a great opportunity for families and general public to join us and watch our talented staff and colleagues go head to head to win the title for 2023.
The overall winner of the event will represent the region at the Nationals in March 2024 in Feilding at the Central District Field Days Event.

Complete the attached registration form and email to our branch secretary: HBEC@civilcontractors.co.nz Competitors MUST be CCNZ Hawkes Bay East Coast members, or bona fide employees of a CCNZ Hawkes Bay East Coast member companies. (There is a limit of 2 competitors per company to give everyone an opportunity to enter, additional competitors can go on a wait list and we will contact you if there is space)
Prior to the event all competitors will be sent a briefing document and their times for each category, keep an eye out for this as there wont be an onsite briefing this year
Sponsorship opportunities? The Hawkes Bay East Coast Branch is looking for sponsors to support the event. We are looking for prizes for the competitor goody bags, as well as main prizes for the winners and/or monetary contributions.
Barrel Shoveling Competitions: This year we are bringing back the barrel shovleing competition, this is a great way to get the whole team involved, we will run four heats at lunchtime (12.30pm) and the winners will go on to compete in the final at the end of the excavator competition, to enter you need a team of 3 and you can send your entry details to HBEC@civilcontractors.co.nz
