Keen for a feed and a catch‑up? MATES in Construction, Civil Contractors and Humes are firing up the BBQ, and you are all invited. Swing by, grab a bite, and take a breather with the crew.
It’s a chance to step away from the tools for a moment, check in with your mates, and have a yarn about how things are going - on site or off.
A team from MATES in Construction will be present. Whether you’ve got something on your mind or just want to connect with the team, we’re here, we’re listening, and there’s no pressure.
Good food, good people, and a space to talk if you want to. Simple as that.
Come along and be part of it.
When:
Friday 30th January 11am – 1pm
Tuesday 3rd February 4pm – 6pm
Wednesday 4th February 7am – 9am
Where: Humes, 112 Newton Street, Tauranga
Parking: Feel free to park in the Humes and Brian Perry Civil (BPC) carparks
RSVP? No RSVP required, please just drop in and feel free to bring a mate!
Who are Mates in Construction? MATES in Construction is a charity and industry-partnered organisation in New Zealand and Australia dedicated to reducing high suicide rates within the construction sector. They provide mental health training, on-site support, and 24/7 helpline services to create a community that encourages well-being.
Please make sure this opportunity is offered to all of your staff and workmates. You might not need it yourself, but it could be exactly what someone else needs!
Please print and pop on your noticeboards and/or forward the email to your team - thanks!
A big thanks to Hayley and the team at Humes Mount Maunganui!
