Branch meetings are held on the last Wednesday of January, March, May, July and September throughout the year, with the November meeting being combined with the annual Christmas Party. Meeting locations may differ and will be advised on each meeting instance
Mercury has kindly invited CCNZ Northland members to tour the Kaiwaikawe Wind Farm near Dargaville on Wednesday, 30 September 2026.
Representatives from Mercury will provide an overview of the project before guiding attendees through the wind farm to view the turbines and associated infrastructure. Bus pick-up details and timings will be advised closer to the date.
The local newspaper has also been invited to attend and report on the visit.
Rules of attendance:
- Full length PPE, long longs, hivis, closed in shoes, steel cap boots (preferred but not essential), hard hat and safety glasses.
- Everyone will be breath tested onsite
- NO PHOTOS allowed and strictly no social media posts!
If interest is high we may need to restrict numbers (members/associate employees will have first preference).
