Branch meetings are held on the last Wednesday of January (this one has been moved slightly earlier), March, May, July and September throughout the year, with the November meeting being combined with the annual Christmas Party. Meeting locations may differ and will be advised on each meeting instance. 

This month’s meeting will be hosted by Mercury/Higgins. Mercury is kindly inviting CCNZ Northland to tour the Kaiwaikawe Wind Farm, located near Dargaville at 4:30pm on Wednesday 21st of January 2026. 

Site engineers and a representative from Mercury will be joining us to talk us through the project. We will then head on site to view a completed platform, a poured foundation, and another yet to be poured, with the steelwork nearing completion.

Rules of attendance:

• Full length PPE, long longs, hivis, steel cap boots, hard hat and safety glasses
• Everyone will be breath tested onsite
• We will need to meet at the start of Maitahi Road, you will be escorted to the site compound (there are multiple truck and trailer units delivering, and very narrow carriageway).
• NO PHOTOS allowed and strictly no social media posts!
• We will start the meeting as soon as we arrive at the compound.
• To minimise vehicles numbers please carpool. 

If interest is high we may need to restrict numbers (members/associate employees will have first preference).
