Entries are open to all members of the CCNZ Canterbury Westland Branch with an annual turnover of more than $10 million. Projects submitted must have been completed within the 12 months prior to the entry closing date and must include a completion certificate.

Judging Process:

  • The entry documentation influences but does not determine the outcome.
  • Please keep your entry details concise and factual.
  • Please do not use special characters in document file names when uploading.
  • The submissions are assessed by the judges who will then conduct site visits.
  • Following the site visits the judges will select the winner.
  • Finalists to attend the Canterbury Westland Branch Annual Construction Awards Dinner on November the 7th 2025 at Te Pae where the winners of each category will be announced.

Eligibility

  1. Any project that has achieved practical completion within the past 12 months (or which will achieve practical completion on or before 29 August 2025)
  2. Entrants must include in their submission:
    1. Project details such as start, end date and value (final cost).
    2. A copy of the Certificate of Practical Completion for the project.
    3. Evidence of client/customer/stakeholder satisfaction (clients, road users, adjoining property owners, stakeholders and neighbours), e.g. examples of the customer/s receiving good project information prior to and during the project or safety briefings; or feedback from stakeholders throughout the project as well as any client feedback.
    4. A selection of five high resolution photographs are to be uploaded. These photographs will be used for the awards presentations.
    5. Entries need to clearly show who the entrants are, regardless of the submission being individual or joint.
    6. Entries should indicate any commercially sensitive information that should not be published.
