This award category is open to all CCNZ members nationwide who have completed a project that has a value of between $2 million and $5 million.

The fee to enter award category 2 is $500 + GST.

Eligibility

Entrants must include in their submission:

  • Project details such as start and end date and value.
  • A copy of the Certificate of Practical Completion for the project.
  • Evidence of client satisfaction in writing, demonstrated by a letter/email from the client.
  • Evidence of customer satisfaction (road users, adjoining property owners, stakeholders and neighbours), e.g. examples of the customer/s receiving good project information prior to and during the project or safety briefings; or feedback from stakeholders throughout the project.
  • A selection of five high resolution photographs (or more) are to be uploaded. These photographs will be used for the awards presentations and awards booklet.
  • A marketing statement of no more than 200 words giving a brief description of the entry that can be used for media releases and award publications. This statement should include the:
    • project name
    • location
    • client
    • consultant
    • contractor details
    • project commencement and completion dates.
  • Entries need to clearly show who the entrants are, regardless of the submission being individual or joint.
  • Entries should indicate any commercially sensitive information that should not be published.

In this first section, to give the judges a good overview of the project you are submitting please use drawings and pictures where appropriate.

Relationships - Client satisfaction - 10% contribution to score

Describe the relationships, how they were managed and how any impacts were mitigated:

Setting up the Project - Planning and Control - 20% contribution to score

Describe the project, the unusual site conditions or constraints, and the key risks or opportunities identified. Explain the systems/planning that went into addressing these areas:

  • Temporary Works
  • Skills/Training
  • Engineering Controls

Physical Works - Risk - 20% contribution to score

Physical Works - Construction -15% contribution to score

Describe how risk/construction factors were managed, and overall project/contract results:

  • Efficiency (Budget/Timeliness)
  • Innovation

Marketing Statement
