On 1 November 2022 this branch was formed by merging two branches, Manawatū and Whanganui forming the Manawatū-Whanganui Branch.
Representing members in the civil engineering, construction and general contracting sectors in Manawatū-Whanganui Regions.
The National Excavator Operator Competition was originally created by the Manawatū Branch, and is an annual highlight for the Branch.
