The Connexis Apprentice of the Year Award celebrates individuals who are committed to developing their skills, knowledge, and professionalism through civil infrastructure apprenticeships. These apprentices demonstrate exceptional dedication to learning, a strong work ethic, and a passion for contributing to a safer, more skilled New Zealand.

This award recognises those who go above and beyond in their training - embracing challenges, showing leadership, and actively applying their growing expertise on the job. They represent the future of the industry, proving that investing in personal development not only builds strong careers, but strengthens the businesses and communities they serve.

The Apprentice of the Year Award highlights the importance of nurturing talent and supporting pathways that develop the next generation of civil infrastructure professionals.

Three Finalists will be announced in early July and will receive flights, accommodation and a conference registration for Friday 14 August in Wellington.

The winner will be announced during Luncheon at the CCNZ Conference in Wellington on Friday 14 August
