Mates in Construction are doing a presentation in Whanganui to ALL CCNZ Members, Staff and Families.

MATES In Construction is all about suicide awareness and suicide prevention.
We talk to the team about being aware of others behaviour and how to have the conversation with a MATE who is struggling.
How to spot signs and/or invitations when someone is struggling and provide them resources, including a nationwide 0800 list of numbers that is available to use for anyone they know, family, friends, or anyone in their community.
We talk to them about the MATES program and how that works as this is just the 1st step in the program of MATES In Construction
Included a link that everyone has access to, which provides some online resources and short vids for the guys to watch and some short vids on how to help a MATE who is struggling.
